  • 1 Starting at the Visitor Centre (X) turn right, heading in the direction of the Caravan Park and Nene Valley railway station.

Overton Station is on the Nene Valley Railway Line:

    Nene Valley Railway
    • Just before you cross the road to the railway station, take a sharp right and follow the path alongside the track.

    • 3 When you reach this signpost, go straight ahead...

...then turn left at the crossroads.

    • 4 Follow the path (it will bear to the right) until you reach the railway line crossing, then cross over. Follow  the path in front of you until you go under the next railway bridge...

    ...then turn right.

    •  At the end of the path go through the gate and turn right under the railway   line...

...then walk across the meadow and go right after the gate.

    • 6 Follow the road until you reach this junction.
(*Turning right will take you back to Ferry Meadows via Love Hill)
Turning left, you are now in Castor and can explore.

The Church spire should soon come into view on the right-hand side and is well worth a visit.

Once you've explored Castor, you can go back to Ferry Meadows the way you came.

    1. Wonderful. We stayed at Lynch Lodge in Alwalton last year and these would have been great for daily walks. We must revisit. Many thanks.
